Stillfire Pottery

Situated on beautiful Whidbey Island in Washington state, the artists of STILLFire Pottery create their signature line of fine handcrafted porcelain pottery.  Since 1980, Carol Ann Bauer has been working professionally in clay, designing & producing many lines of her decorated functional pieces. Joining her full time in 1995,  Howard Hamsa, husband and business manager made it possible to move to Whidbey and build this as their family business.  Further expansion in 1999 with the addition of partner Steve Noble, enabled the building of their own 50 cubic foot gas kiln and STILLFire was born. 

Each piece is formed individually by hand, glazed & decorated with their own specially formulated glazes, and gas fired to 2400 degrees F.  The finished ware is durable, lead-free, microwaveable, and dishwasher safe.
