Ordering Pottery - Yes, we ship!

With literally thousands of unique pieces and inventory changing daily, it is impossible for us to post all of our pots online.

The best thing to do is browse our dinnerware page and online gallery to get a sense of what we carry, and then give us a call in the shop at 360-376-2813 to discuss what you’re looking for and order by phone.

Once you have made your selections we can take payment over the phone with any major credit card and can ship via USPS or UPS.

All of our pottery is lead-free, microwave, and dishwasher safe*, but please note:
OVEN USE
Any oven ware, such as casseroles, bakers, pie plates or platters, should be warmed up with the oven— do not “shock” the pottery by bringing it from the refrigerator to a hot oven. Drastic changes in temperature can cause the pots to crack.
MICROWAVE
Pottery must be used carefully in the microwave, as well. Never place frozen food on pottery to be thawed and heated in the microwave. Again, the temperature differences caused by the way the microwave heats can cause cracking.

* Ohata kaki, our “tomato” glaze (on Santa Fe, Sienna, Sierra patterns), can break down over time with long-term dishwasher use with harsh detergents, and it is possible that small amounts of iron may rub off. This has been studied by the University of Washington, and it has been determined that it does not affect the pottery’s food safety.
