Mike Rozzi

From Mike:

I grew up in Pennsylvania, on the edge of Amish country and an old steel town. My parents were once students of art, and creativity was greatly encouraged while growing up. Pottery became my emphasis and passion while attending West Virginia University. That department awarded me the opportunity to study pottery abroad in Jindezhen, China, the porcelain capital of the world. I believe my pottery forms are rooted in the places I've lived, and grown by people I've met. After working for various ceramic companies in Pennsylvania and Kentucky, I landed on Orcas Island in 2014. Living and working alongside inspiring accomplished artists here has been a great privilege. 

We are so lucky to have Mike in our pottery family!
